The KENT Elegant uses RO to remove dissolved impurities including heavy metals, pesticides, and chemicals; UV to kill bacteria and viruses; UF to filter fine particles and cysts; and a TDS Controller to retain essential minerals in purified water using Mineral RO™ technology. This four-stage process ensures water purity meeting IS:10500 drinking water standards.
The KENT Elegant's slim profile takes up significantly less wall space compared to conventional wall-mounted purifiers, making it an excellent fit for small kitchens, studio apartments, and spaces with limited wall real estate. Its compact width means it can be installed in locations where a wider purifier would not fit, without compromising on the purification quality or storage capacity.
The KENT Elegant has an 8-litre storage tank and purifies water at 20 litres per hour, suitable for a family of 3–5 members for daily drinking and cooking requirements. The auto-refill mechanism keeps the tank topped up, and the auto-shut-off ensures the tank never overflows.
The KENT Elegant can purify borewell water, brackish water, tap water, and municipal water with moderate to high TDS levels. The RO membrane removes dissolved salts, heavy metals, arsenic, fluoride, and pesticides, while the TDS Controller ensures essential minerals are retained. The process involves mounting the unit on the wall near the water inlet, connecting the water supply line, setting up the waste water drain, and performing a quality test. Installation is typically included free of charge when purchased from kent.co.in or an authorized KENT dealer.
The KENT Elegant requires sediment pre-filter and carbon filter replacement every 6 months and RO membrane replacement every 12–18 months, depending on water quality and usage. The UV lamp is typically replaced once a year.
