Overview
A brand synonymous with the RO water purifier category in the Indian market, KENT Pioneered in bringing the revolutionary Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology to India (Source:Technopak Report). Equipped with the vision for a healthier world and the expertise to come up with innovative solutions, the brand started its operations from Noida, India, in 1999, and we now have the largest number of stock keeping units (“SKUs”) in the overall water purifier category as well as in the premium segment, amongst our peers (Source: Technopak Report).
It has been a remarkable journey, strewn with milestones. While the brand has brought forth the patented technology of the RO+UV+UF+TDS Controller that purifies water while retaining the natural minerals, which are essential for a healthy life, our innovative use of UV light in our UV water purifiers helps to retain the purity of pure water. Our endeavour to maintain the ecological equilibrium has made us come up with the Zero Water Waste Technology to ensure that no water is wasted while using our RO water purifier. Technological advancements from the house of KENT have been recognised and we are proud to say that KENT is the only water purifier company to be certified by NSF/ANSI 58 (an American national standard for point-of-use revenue osmosis systems).
This home-grown brand that was started off by Dr. Mahesh Gupta, an IIT Kanpur alumnus, is one of the trusted brands in the category, across the globe. NSF INTERNATIONAL,USA
NSF/ANSI 58 is an American National Standard for point-of-use reverse osmosis systems. Developed by a joint committee, NSF/ANSI 58 addresses the different aspects of the RO system such as:
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reduction performance Safety of materials that are in contact with drinking water Recovery rating Structural integrity Contaminant reduction performance Information of the end user Efficiency rating
ROHS COMPLIANT
Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS) restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market must pass ROHS compliance. ROHS compliance ensures that KENT products are not hazardous to the environment in terms of occupational exposure.
CE CERTIFICATION
"CE" is the abbreviation of French phrase "Conformité Européene" which literally means "European Conformity". CE Marking ensures that KENT products comply with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental standards
